Atart used to ship a Logo interpreter free of charge in
the ST boxes, but for some reason had discontinued this
practice. The publishing company iwt has a Logo called
"iwt Logo for Atari" which represents a major effort
in computer archeology. The program author found 4 different
and mutually incompatable Atari Logos that had been shipped,
and managed to write a Logo to cope with all of them.
We are currently testing this Logo (we are preparing a
report on the Logo interpreters available for German schools
for "Log In", a German magazine about computers in the schools),
but the tests have not been completed. This information in
on the basis of what is noted in the handbook.
If anyone has a freely available Logo (either public domain
or licensed) other than {Logo fuer den PC, LogoWriter, iwt Logo,
KRS Logo, IBM-Logo} we'd like to hear from you! Mail to
