Springer Rd. Los Altos, CA 94024 415-949-2126 CompuServe75500,2027 The interface is similar to the one used by Lego-logo. The Bots interface has 4 motor ports and 4 sensor ports. (BTW, we got all 4 sensor ports to work with the lego optical sensor) In addition to the sensor state and state cycle count provided by the Lego-Logo interface, the Bots interface also provides the cycle "rate," and allows for callibration of optical sensor sensitivity. The interface can control other things as well, such as Capsella. Bots produces HyperCard based software for use with the interface on the Mac. The documentation describes the interface's command protocol (although there are a few mistakes) well enough so that the interface can be controlled from any programming language capable of serial I/O. As I understand it, there a a few versions of Scheme which support this interface. I am working on software to control the interface from the M2Amiga Modula-2 language on the Amiga. I may also provide software for PCQ, a public domain Pascal compiler for the Amiga. Sr. Sullivan and I have been doing alot of things with Lego-Logo materials, and would be happy to discus them. ksulliva@seattleu.edu rrogers@cs.washington.edu
