The MIT PRESS Bookstore, that stocks books for retail sale,
often has damaged copies, and overstocks at a discount

The number in the phonebook is wrong, 

They (the MIT PRESS bookstore) is at 292 Main St.
Cambridge MA 01242

They WILL take phone orders (with plastic).

and they do not have internet(type) access (and I quote
from a phone call I just made)

"...or if we do, I don't know how to use it, but I think we don't"

In general, MIT PRESS does not distrubute evaluation copies
freely (if at all).
