Let's don't forget: Turtle Geometry The Computer as a Medium for Exploring Mathematics Harold Abelson & Andrea disSessa 1980, MIT Press. The turtle gets to do some fractal geometry in the following book. It's a lab-like intro. to chaos and fractals, the labs being computer listings accompanied by gentle discussions of the mathematics. Especially good for pre-calculus or rusty-calculus folks, it goes next to the above book on my shelf. The examples are in Pascal & BASIC, but the ones I've had time to do I've done in Logo so far. (Only some of the programs, primarily the fractals, use turtle geometry.) The Chaos Cookbook Joe Pritchard Butterworth Heinemann, 1992 ISBN 0-7506-0304-6
