Seeking information comparing various languages

I am working on a project where we are comparing various languages to
determine the best language for a particular simulation to be
developed in.  If anyone knows of any studies which have been done
comparing various computer languages, or papers written on a
particular language which could help us with the comparison, I would
greatly appreciate hearing from you.  The languages which we are
considering are:

Eiffel
Clips
ModSim
Sim++
C++
Lisp
Ada

I have a fair amount of information on C++, List, and Ada, but any
further information would be welcome.
