Although I have not heard of a ***language*** called Haskell, I know a person of that name, Richard Haskell --I believe at a university in Rochester, MN-- who has taught Forth for some years and has written a book on assembly language programming and machine interfacing that uses shortcuts based on --you're way ahead of me!-- Forth. I am not sure if this book has come out yet or is to be published Real Soon Now. Haskell is also the author of The Forth Course, which includes, among other things, development of a simple Forth for the 68hc11. More info on this and other stuff can doubtless be found on Comp.lang.forth or from the FIG (Forth Interest Group) bulletin board on GEnie, or from FIG (find a recent Forth Dimensions, e.g.). I hope a) this is what you are looking for; b) that the info is of help, if so. --jvn
