Add:
PERL Dynamic datatypes and allocation. Pattern matching
with regexps. Data formatting. Access to system calls.
Weird syntax. Lisp-like scope rules. No distinction
between program and data ("EVAL" and "DO" functions).
PERL = Practical Extraction and Report Language.
Modula-2 Separate module definition and implementation. Heavily
block-structured. Very strong typing. Combines the
benefits of Pascal with the very few good features of C.
Please resume once in a while, this will be an interesting topic.
