    The percentage certainly *is* made up; I haven't made any 
    statement on this topic, and it is inappropriate (and quite
    irresponsible) to attribute to me this or any other statement 
    which you might arbitrarily make up.

    According to the most recent figures I've seen (and these figures are 
    old -- June 1988), the United States Ada industry has an activity of 
    1.25 billion dollars and comprises 13,000 jobs.  If anyone has seen any
    more recent figures, I'd certainly be interested in knowing about them.
