QuickBasic vs. VisualBasic. Comparison?

I would like to see a comparison of QuickBasic and
VisualBasic (both from Microsoft), beyond all of the
bells and whistles that VBasic has.
How do they compare with regard to straight Basic
       programming?
Is either one of them faster in compiling or execution?
Is it true that VB demands more careful structuring of a
program? I.e. is QB more forgiving of slight errors?
After compiling, do they give exactly the same code?

Either post answers or send e-mail to e_p@unlinfo.unl.edu
