Hi there,

Maybe it's not the appropriate groups to ask such question, but I've no
idea about which group I should post my question :-(

I'd like to know if there's any group which is about Awk and Sed ?

Where can I get any doc. about Awk and Sed on Internet ?

How can I strip off control characters (e.g. ^M) in a text file using
Sed ?

Hope that these are not FAQs :-)

Any help will be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
