Dear Frank,

Try "TopSpeed Modula-2" by Barry Cornelius, Addison Wesley 1991
ISBN 0-201-41679-4

Aniother good introduction for beginners is:
Modula-2, A Seafarers's Guide and Shipyard Manual, by Edward J. Joyce,
Addison Wesley 1985 ISBN 0-201-11587-5

TopSpeeds own tutorial is not bad to start with either.
See the FAQ-file for more titles.
Wirth's own litte book is a must. Clear simple and very useful.
