Hi,

My two-penny-worth goes with *anything* by Leestma & Nyhoff. They've got
books for Modula-2 & Pascal. Excellent, easy to understand, and have
data structures 'off-pat'. Thoroughly recommended.

I've just finished a degree and we had Modula-2 as *the* first-year
langauge. If I got less than 90% for my coursework I was disappointed.
All down to L&N. Brilliant, though I think it helps if you've had *some*
programming experience.
