Simple colours in FST 3.1/3.5

I'd be grateful for any suggestions:

I'm programming in FST 3.5, using 25x80 Text mode. I would like to
use simple blocks of colours of a 16 colour, background/foreground
nature. I have found screen/graphical modules in Peter Moylan's PMOS
library and have seen other modules for both JPI & Topspeed which do
this job (and plenty more), but they either won't co-operate with
FST, (or else are dependent on other modules which won't compile
with FST); and my ill-informed hacking is not of a competence to
make them so.

I will try to make an assembler routine to do it myself, but I'm
pushing my abilities (good) and getting frustrated (bad).

However, if anyone has some helpful FST source, or the location of
where to find some, I'd appreciate it...

Richard.
