Modula beginner seeks direction

I'm brand new to the Modula world. I currently telnet to a Sun host running
S5r4. Staying connected for hours at a time is frowned upon at Ohio State.
And, I'm tired of typing text here on notepad, FTPing it down, telneting in to
compile, having to type:

/opt/epc/em2/bin/em2 -epc --g -o something.out something.mod

My home pc is a Pentium 60/16meg/1.6g running Windoze er a Windows 95. I've
been a C++ coder for 10+ years and have gotten spoiled by all the bells and
whistles on my MS C++ v4.0. So after all that, here's a few questions:

1)  Is there a good 32 bit Modula package for '95?  I'm tired of 16bit win3.x
garbage crashing my system every 5 mins.

2) Is there visual type Modula editor?

3)  What's the difference between Modula-2 & -3?  Can -3 use -2 code like C++
will use C?

4) I also run Slackware Linux. I would even be happy with a good Xwindows
package. Do I have any options here?

In sum, I basically want a one stop, easy-to-use, GUI based setup to gen some
Modula-2 code. If anyone can help or would like to share with me what they
use, I would be great full.
