Hi! I'm an engineering student and I have to write a program in
Modula-2 for one of my exams, but I don't have a copy of this lang.
Can anyone tell me where could I get a free copy of it?

Thanx a lot

Dade,
which OS do you use?
If you want to use Linux, you can use the Mocka or
the GPM.

Host ftp.informatik.hu-berlin.de

In Directory /pub/os/linux/mirrors/tsx-11.mit.edu/packages/modula-2
      File mocka9502main-linux.lsm 1617 May 14 1995

OR
ftp://ftp.fit.qut.edu.au/pub/gpm_modula2

ftp.juelich.fh-aachen.de/pub/modula/gpm ...

to get the GPM (Gardens Point Modula-2)
This one is running on a lot of other Platforms.

If you use DOS, Linux, or OS/2, an excellent 32-bit Modula-2 compiler
is freely available for educational and non-commerical use. It's called
Garden's Point Modula 2. Sorry, I don't have a URL for you, but if you
do a web search using your favorite web search engine, you'll find it. I
did using Altavista the other day.

ANother Modula-2 compiler for DOS is called FST Modula-2. 16-bit I
believe and it's shareware.
