Hi Seth,

I have the ETH Modula2 compiler version 3.2.2 from the home of the guru
himself. It's available at several sites, including:

    <ftp://neptune.inf.ethz.ch/>
    <ftp://baikal.ethz.ch/pub/mac/RAMSES>

I am not sure if these sites are still functional. In the UK try:

    <ftp://src.doc.ic.ac.uk/packages/info-mac/>

and navigate to the "development" directory.

It's not a bad implementation, but all the pre-written interfaces are designed
for an ETH system with graphical origin at bottom left (the Mac being top
left). There are hints for developing a true Mac interface. It's all freeware
except for the Medit macro editor which is shareware.

I have tried developing a true Mac interface as an interesting exercise to
learn more about the tool box. Since I moved to System 7 it has got more
difficult. I may yet abandon it!

It realy depends on your needs. Good luck to you.

Regards,    Shane.

Try http://www.cosc.brocku.ca/Offerings/1PO1/

They have 'MetroWerks' and 'Utilities' availiable for download.

I can't comment other than that - I'm new to Modula2 and I don't
have a Mac....

I tried the URL above but it won't give me permission to access.
This seems to be reserved for students only (as the accompanying
text hints at).
