One last update about this small utility: It now implements a 'native' Oberon/F 'file-type' - a desktop file - which can be saved/restored like any other file. So one can have a desktop per project or whatever. Also new, iconized windows are correctly handled, the focus window is restored and for textviews, the current text selection and the current visible-area are restored. If you port this to the Mac, please let me know. Its at: http://www.math.tau.ac.il/~laden/Oberon/mymods.html On another subject: If you'de be interested in joining an Oberon/F mailing list please get in touch. Some of the topics Oberon/F developers are interested in might not interest the rest of this forum (eg: technical details of the framework, OLE/Opendoc and interacting with those components from the framework etc...). Another benefit of a mailing list is faster delivery of messages. Because of the (I assume) more commercial nature of its use, quick answers might be more important than usual. So, if there is any interest I'll set up a mailing list. Regards, Guy.
