For those of you who are interested, I just uploaded an Objective-C class I wrote called Random to the submissions directories of cs.orst.edu and sonata.cc.purdue.edu. This class implements a very good pseudo-random number generator with a cycle length of 8.8 trillion. It provides facilities for random integers and a random percentile, as well as specialized methods for rolling dice. --Gregor P.S. -- Do I do something to get this into comp.archives, or do moderators or somesuch do that? ----------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Gregor N.
