For the last few months I've been using both Objective-C on the NeXT and SmallTalk\ObjectWorks on various platforms. My conclusions ? NeXT smokes everyone when it comes to the GUI classes, but is sorely lacking when it comes to data modeling classes (i.e. Set, Bag, SequenceableCollection, Collection, SortedCollection, OrderedCollection, Array, etc. etc. etc....the list is long) like we find in SmallTalk. What I would love to see is equivalents to these on the Obj-C side. FSF seems like the one to do the job :-) -- Ronald Pomeroy Advanced Micro Devices CAM Applications Group rpomeroy@aunext3.amd.com
