Hi to Everyone:

I am having trouble installing all of the [required] MINGW32 based
tools that I downloaded from: 

http://agnes.dida.physik.uni-essen.de/~janjaap/mingw32/download.html


I am in Windows 98, and I have the WINZIP utility for unzipping.  It
works with just about all of these based tools except:

         "gcc-2_8_1"          and            "gas-980119"

where an error message keeps coming up that says:     "Error:  cannot
create C:/MINGW32/bin/c++filt.exe.  Please press F1 for help."  Also
for:

                       "mingw32-980105"

there's an error msg:         "cannot create
C:/MINGW32/samples/dlltest/rcs/dll.c,v.  Please press F1 for help."


WHAT SHOULD I DO?  HOW CAN I AVOID THIS ERROR MSG.,
AND HOW CAN I COMPLETELY INSTALL THIS INTO WINDOWS 98
W/OUT ANY TROUBLE?

Please help if u can.

   I think you'll get a good deal of worthwhile help if you post in an 
appropriate "Pascal" group - this one if for "Borland Pascal" (Turbo 
Pascal, Borland Pascal, etc.).  GPC isn't a Borland product...
