It's always unwise to not have source code. Can you use overlays? You may be able to break down a large program into a number of less large ones, run in turn. You may be able to save a little space by reducing the Stack to the minimum needed, replacing use of "type string" by "type string[size]", using IEEE types instead of 6-byte reals, etc. If you have BP7, you can write a protected node program that uses Exec to run real-mode programs. Note - as per mFAQ - your question will not be seen by the experts in b.p.t. Moreover, forums.borland.com seems sickly. -- John Stockton, Surrey, UK. jrs@merlyn.demon.co.uk Turnpike v4.00 MIME. <URL: http://www.merlyn.demon.co.uk/> TP/BP/Delphi/&c., FAQqy topics & links; <URL: ftp://garbo.uwasa.fi/pc/link/tsfaqp.zip> Timo Salmi's Turbo Pascal FAQ; <URL: http://www.merlyn.demon.co.uk/clpb-faq.txt> Pedt Scragg: c.l.p.b. mFAQ.
