JRS: In article <829ise$t9n$1@nnrp1.deja.com> of Fri, 3 Dec 1999 23:14:25 in news:comp.lang.pascal.borland, Robert AH Prins <prinsra@williscorroon.com> wrote: >X-posted to c.l.p.b, original postings in this thread can be accessed >on Deja as > >http://www.deja.com/=dnc/getdoc.xp?AN=555301718 >http://www.deja.com/=dnc/getdoc.xp?AN=555543510 In such circumstances, please give the message-ID. With that, I could fetch the articles, if I did not already have them, very easily by entering the m-ID into my off-line system for the next news collection. Of course, for those without such a facility, the Deja reference is good; though I believe Deja can find by m-ID. Anyway, as yet I do not know what the question is, except by the Subject line. There are references in my pas-time.htm and prog2000.htm, via SigLine 2. No Y2k problem is AFAIK expected in TP7/BP7 themselves, or in their libraries, though a programmer can readily enough generate such in his own code. Pedt : is this a candidate Q for mFAQs? N.B. Borland don't like cross-posts on their servers, but you (RAHP) are not using a Borland feed, so your post will not appear there. Therefore I have reversed the newsgroups line. This too might be referred to in the mFAQ? Could the mFAQ go into the other newsgroups, in comp.* and alt.*, that deal with Pascal (or Delphi?)? -- John Stockton, Surrey, UK. jrs@merlyn.demon.co.uk Turnpike v4.00 MIME. Web <URL: http://www.merlyn.demon.co.uk/> - w.
