Check with documentation such as Ralf Brown's List; I think this also
disables mouse and RTC interrupt.


This thread has been crossposted to Borland groups, which Borland do not
like; but the articles have not been injected at Borland's server, so
will not be seen by those who correctly use that server for Borland
groups.  I have therefore re-ordered the newsgroups line.

This thread has also been posted to too many groups.
