Hi...
I'm writing a software in Turbo Pascal 6 to control a tranceiver
over the UART RS-232 Interface. Just in TP it works really fine,
but without any graphical layout. So I have been interessted in
Turbo Vision for Turbo Pascal 6 and I allready begone to struct
a menu toolbar design.
My question is now how to integrate the TP 6 Source, that means
how to write an oject or else in Turbo Vision that is able to
display values in an array format and refresh them every 50ms or 100ms.
My tranceiver sends every 50-100 ms a hex code that is proceded
and calculated by an Interrupt Service Routine and aferwerds
the values will be saved in normal Turbo Pascal Arrays.
It looks like that:
TYPE
VFOs = RECORD
Rq : Boolean; { VFOs request
decleration }
PO : Byte; { PO/ALC for
VFOs }
SM : Byte; { S-Meter for
VFOs }
QRG : Array[1 ..4] of Byte; { QRQ 10MHz of VFOs to
display }
Mode : Byte; { Modes for
VFOs }
ModeBez : String[3]; { Mode Bezeichnung for
VFOs }
PTT : Boolean; { PTT
Status }
END;
(VFO means Voltage Frequency Oscillator...)
How to determine now an object if needed to get every 1/10 seconds
such values from the TP array or pointers of them and display
in an Static text field or else...?
If anybody is able to help me, please send me a mail to:
manfischer@swissonline.ch
Thanks...
and happy MILLENIUM
