Hi

I needed some info about bitmaps...

Is there any way in which i could convert bmps made from Windows paintbrush
to a 4 bit bitmap or 8 bit bitmap? Any URLs where I could download such
utilities?

I think you'll find Paintbrush already supports 16 and 256 colour .BMP's.

There is a program called imagepal and photoimpact (16 and 32 bit versions)  I
got them for the scanner, they are free,
if u need them Let me know
