Multi-tiers application in D5 We have a client application that has 6 different data modules which are connected to 6 different remote data modules. These RDM are located on a computer and they connect, with the help of the BDE to an Oracle 8i database located on a different computer. The application works well when the number of users is limited, but when the number becomes greater, the performance is greatly diminished. We have increased the default values in the BDE configuration (INIT section) with some success, which is strange because according to the help files of the BDE, it would seem that when the values are too great, the benefits would disappear. Would someone know what would be the optimum configuration of the BDE with Oracle?

Keep it out of this ng
