TList-Debug-Inspector

The new debug inspector (hope it has this name in the English version
since I
only own the German) of Delphi 4 is great for inspecting values of an
object.
But many times you want to look at the content of a TList. The perfect
representation
of its values would be a list consisting of all entries (like the debug
inspector
shows arrays). But this is impossible, since you have to access a
TList's items
by the items-Property (which is an Array-Property and therefore not
accessible by
the debug inspector) or by the list-Property, but dereferencing the
PPointer-Array
is not possible since it would be a huge pointer-Array that is much too
large to
be shown in the inspector.
Is there a way to investigate a TList's items. Maybe it is also possible
to include a
type conversion in this investigation, since you often store objects of
a certain in TLists
and want to look at their attributes.

Thanks for any help
