Hello all We've encountered a problem writing component help files for Delphi Dev. 3.0. As the Delphi help file states, we include A keynotes for every component, property and event. The A footnote for TShellTreeView is "TShellTreeView_Object;TShellTreeView" (without the quotes). The A footnote for TShellTreeView.FolderAttributes is "TShellTreeView_FolderAttributes;FolderAttributes_Property;FolderAttri butes", etc. We created the help file and included it in [Delphi directory]\Help. We created a .cnt (contents) file in the same directory, containing: :Base shtrees.hlp>Main :Title The ShellTreeView Component :include delphi3.cfg And included :Link shtrees.hlp in delphi3.cfg If we include a TShellTreeView in a form and press F1, Delphi searches and can't find the TShellTreeView. It opens the Index tab and shows TShareImages (which is closest to TShellTreeView, I guess). If we press F1 in the Object Inspector with FolderAttributes selected, it can't find this either. Is this a problem with D3.0 (so should we get D3.01 and download D3.02 then) or is this an error in the help files (should our A keynotes or delphi3.cfg or contents file be different)? To write the help, we use MS Word 7.0 (1995) and a library of (our own) macros to create help files. BTW, we know how to write help files using B keynotes (we did this successfully for D2 and D1). We included $, K and # endnotes for every Delphi topic. We tried footnotes instead, but to no avail. Is there something we're missing (like an option in the hpj file, or some extra keynotes)? Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance Rudy Velthuis
