Hi there, I've written a simple OLE component using delphi 3. But whenever I instanciate the component from another application, the component keeps showing a seperate button in the taskbar. I hate this! Is there a way of disabling this behaviour of Delphi OLE components? Greetz, Marc.

Is there a way of disabling this behaviour >of Delphi OLE components? I'm not sure exactly what you mean by component, but perhaps you mean OLE server? If so, you can either write the OLE server so that it does not use a main form (rarely do my OLE servers need main forms), or you can just set Application.ShowMainForm to false. DK
