I used a TMediaplayer component in my application. When I launch the application from CD, I get a 'MCI device not present' error, when I launch the application from my harddisk, it works fine. I use Delphi 3 and use TMediaplayer to play wav files. Thanks

Have you "Opened" the mediaplayer? MediaPlayer1.Open; or on the Object Manager, there is a property, AutoOpen: boolean; check that, look at the DeviceType property on the object manager also, choose dtAutoSelect, well this is all i could come up with bye Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
