I'm testing a modified verson of  your code,  but i cant manange to get it
work allright the code goes as follows:

Procedure TMain.ButtonClick(Sender: TObject);

Var F:TextFile

Begin

AssignFile(F,'data.txt');
Rewrite(F);
WriteLn('hello');
CloseFile(F);

End;

My expectations where that the code above would write af file (data.txt)
with the line 'hello' inside. What am i doing wrong?
