I'm using Delphi 3 C/S, and connecting to Oracle 7. I have a large number of open tables, and 2 queries using an updateSQL object . The first one is OK. For the second, when I ApplyUpdates, it does its stuff and comes up with an error message saying 'The table is read-only'. This does not cause an OnUpdateError event. This query is master-detailed on another Dataset by setting the datasource project pointing to that table and an appropriate (Where KeyField = :KeyField) clause in the SQL statement. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. Olly Morgan If posting, please also email replies to O.Morgan@ed.ac.uk
