Hello.

hope you will find some time to give some advices to the following
problem.

-Delphi 3.0 (none C/S)
-Paradox
-SQL

I developed an application that executes hundereds of SQL statements and
stores the results to a locale table.
For that only one TQuery is used.
The structure is something like that :

Query.Perpare;
Query.SQL.clear;
Query.SQL.add ("the statement")
Query.Open;
"do something with the result table"
Query.Close;
Query.Unperpare;


When the program is launched the log file (PDOXUSRS.LCK) will be
created. When the procedere starts this file grows larger and larger
until an ecception occurs : (in German "Sperrdatei zu gro�") which means
about "Log file to large".
The problem in fact is that the log file will not be erased or be
shorten after closing one query so that the ecception does not occure.
On single stand alone computer the program works beautifully. Using it
within the network (NT) the trouble comes up. I have checked the
diskspace, etc of the server but everything is OK.
The program was allways started form workstations.

So my question is whether this is a known problem and how to solve it.
