Re: Problem described below

The SQL is a "select * from my_table where Field_1='zzzz'" (Field1 is
indexed...) - the table itself has 10 fields; all simple numeric  or
string fields (it's a vanilla .dbf file)

PS I have tried this in a test app with ONLY the query hooked up to a 
dbgrid on a single form...
