Why isn't TBatchMove creating a key violations table? Anyone?

I am using Delphi 3.01 and paradox tables, bde 4.51 When I attempt to batchmove one table to another there are occasions when I get Key violations. I have abort on KeyViol to False and have given a name to the KeyViolTable of 'Dupes.db'. I am using batAppend as the mode. When I execute the batchmove and key violations occur NO table is created. I've looked on every local drive I have running. Nothing. My test application is set up to display a grid of these "duplicate" records but (although the KeyVoilCount is 23 in my test run) there is NO table created. No updates occur (all of the temp table records are in the master table so I should get SOMETHING!) I've tried setting the Private dir to the exe directory, I've pointed everything the the application directory. I've used Files/Search and searched ALL local drives for DUPES.DB but Nothing! Can Anyone help here? What am I doing wrong? I need to show the user the duplicate records for some action and I can't get the db engine to help out. Any assistance is appreciated! Thanx.
