servas!

i've got a beginner-problem:

i'd like to write an web-application which connects to a database, which
alias has been defined in the ODBC.
when i'm running the program from within the dos-console, everything
works right and after the SQL-query datas are printed out.

but when i'm trying to run the executeable by the web-server, the only
message i got is:

internal server error 500
Exception: EDBEngineError
Meldung: could not initialize the Borland database engine (Error $2B05)

what am i making wrong? has anyone a piece of source for connecting to a
database within a web-application?

I have the same problem with a Windows NT server using IIS 3.

I think it is a access restriction problem, but I don't know what rights I
have to give to what users ?
