ADOExpress Stored procedure parameters (TeamB - any ideas?)

I am trying to reverse-engineer the method that Delphi 5 (ADO,
preferably) uses to populate the Parameters collection for a
TADOStoredProc component at design for my own use at run time. So far,
my options are to directly call sp_procedure_params_rowset and parse
those results. The preferred method would be to reuse Borland's method.

Yes, I am aware of the potential performance hit associated with this
action - my design includes cacheing the results for later use if
necessary.

Any ideas?

Question restated - Is there an ADO method call to retrieve the
parameters for a stored procedure?
Or, what am I doing wrong here: (is it possible that this is only valid
for ADO 2.5 beta?)
rs := OpenSchema( adSchemaProcedureParameters,
['salesdata', 'dbo', 'sp_Cleanup', ''],
nil )

this call tells me that a parameter is incorrect.
Help, anyone?
