First, let me apologize for the simple nature of this inquiry -- I know that Delphi/Access connectivity problems have been discussed to death, but I really would appreciate your help with this. I recently resumed a project but before doing so I installed the Delphi Service Pack 3. Now, whenever you try and set the data access components to Active I get the following error: General SQL Error -2147221164 Table Alias: Trial // or whatever Alias I'm using I've checked to make sure the MSACCESS driver under the BDE Administrator (v. 5.01) is set to IDDA3532.DLL and the machine has Access 97 installed on it. I've tried tinkering around, but have got nowhere. It's so elementary that it's downright pissing me off. I would really appreciate anyone's help on this. Thanks in advance, Craig Spradling

Apparently, somewhere along the line my DAO 3.5 was corrupted and this was causing the SQL error. I reinstalled the DAO package and everything is fine now.
