For the last week I've seen a "Stream Read Error" every time I startup Delphi 3. I've looked for various explanations, including searching Deja News, and nothing seemed to help. So I looked in the ..\Delphi 3\bin directory for files that changed recently. The Delphi32.DMT file was a zero-length file, so I deleted it. The problem when away. Delphi 3 created a new Delphi32.DMT that was not zero-length the next time I started up. Does anyone know what's in the .DMT file and how it might have become a zero-length file? efg _________________________________________ efg's Computer Lab: http://infomaster.net/external/efg Earl F.
