Grumpy, Sorry, this thread is a bit old now, bit... Carl did also suggest DotHLP. I use it and like it, and it's not as expensive as most other help authoring progs. It generates 16-bit & 32-bit Windows help files. There are optional add-ons to generate .chm files and also WinCE help files, all using the same input pages. You write the pages once, and generate whatever output you want, .hlp, .chm etc. See http://www.auricvisions.com I believe you can download a trial version. Another reason I like DotHLP is that the author has always been very, very quick to respond to problems. When I found a bug the other day, he made an upgraded .exe to fix it and put it on his web site, all within 24 hours. I hated writing help files with RTF and Windows help compiler. Now it's almost fun! Usual disclaimer: I have no association with AuricVisions apart from being a customer. Soooo it's stinking "HTML Help gr> Workshop" or nothing at this point, but thanks for the response. gr> gr> -- gr> gr> Grumpy, the Third Dwarf gr> (Dave) gr> gr> ***************************************** gr> If I were taller, I wouldn't be so short! gr> Dyslexics of the world, untie gr> ***************************************** gr>
