I have to add that an even more important issue is the contract. To make
sure you and the customer agree on the project specification. If you don't
have a good one, you'll probably end up with the customer claiming that you
must add new features in eternity and that that is part of the original
price.

State ALL possible details on the project to avoid such hassle. It's worth
it.
