Well, then how about adding there some new functionality. Some new 
colourful and blinking bells and whistles will easily be worth extra 
100 k. 

Or if you have freezed the development, then why take any new compiler 
version at all, just keep compiling it with the older D3 version. At 
least for that grumpy client.
