I found out the reason it's slower, is the optimizer. It's not too hard to
make it as fast as (or even beat) the non-optimized Delphi code, but
optimizer's way of moving variables in and out of registers and stack
handling is far beyond my assembly knowledge. The optimized code is *very*
hard to read....
