Hi!

I need to connect two programs using NetBIOS protocol:

1 program - working under Win95, using API NetBIOS function;
2 program - working under DOS (not DOS-emulation of Win95), using
lsl-IPXODI-NetBIOS protocol from NetWare;

When I'm trying to connect this programs using NetBIOS - THEY DON'T FIND
EACH OTHER!

Please, help.

Thank's,
IGOR.

Hi,
the most time the reason for this problem is, that the lana-numbers on
both sides differ. On DOs, as I know the lana number is 0 (zero), Win 95
prefers 1 (one) and TCP/IP gets 0. The best is to change in win 95. The
second problem might be that on both sides of the connections are
different
network providers (eg. MS and Artisoft). With Artisofts Lantastic it
should
work, the have good drivers for both operating systems and they have
done
something to connect them.

Greetings -
