I am trying to use Visual Source Safe Ole Automation Api. I need to intercept
the Visual Source Safe Events when someone checksin, checksout, adds a file
to the Visaul Source Safe via Source Safe Explorer or any other means. I
found an C++ example to do this in microsoft source safe page. After
installing it everytime I check in files it displays messages like Before
checkin of file xyz to project abc etc. and after a successful check of a
file.
I want to do the same thing in Delphi. I have created a COM object in delphi.
I have modified the ssaddin.ini with the Progid of my COM object. I have
registered my object. When I start VSS Explorer and try to add a new file to
an existing project I get a message showing the I recieved an event from
VSS before add the file. However after this I get a message
Invalid DOS Path: somejunk ...
and my Add to VSS fails.
Has any one come across the same problem. The Demo C Program called SSAddIn
which is availble from Microsoft WebSite works fine. I have tried my best to
create the same COM object in Delphi but something is not working.
Any help, suggestions, examples to fix this problem will be much appriciated.
