I've been investigating a strange problem with the help of a local 
Delphi mailing list but we are stumped.

I have 2 computers with Delphi 5 Pro service pack 1 installed on both. 
AMD K6II-500 & Intel PII-266.  I copied a project contained in one 
folder from one computer to the other & compiled them both.  The AMD 
powered computer produces an EXE that is 38k bigger (686k v 648k).  The 
project options for debugging etc are all the same -- obviously because 
they were copied with the project files.  I've checked & double checked 
all the Debuging & Compile options are the same.  All the same component 
versions are installed.

Compiling a blank project with only a "Uses Forms" clause, produces EXE 
sizes very close but different by 1k -- 287k v 288k.

Can anyone suggest why this is or how it can be?  I can provide the 2 
blank form EXE's if anyone can disassemble them for analysis.
