Problems compiling version perl v5.002 on Linux using GCC v2.7.0.
The ext/DynaLoader/DynaLoader.c file wants to include dld.h, the source
of DynaLoader saying that it is quote, "/* GNU DLD header file */".
Problem is that dld.h isn't to be found anywere on the system.
-Yes, I've installed the full kernel source and all include files.
Anyone else have this problem?
Know a way around it?
Kernel v1.2.13
Gcc v2.7.0
Perl v5.002
Thanks!

I compiled 5.002 on linux 1.3.72(and GCC 2.7.0) without a hitch. Not sure about a workaround for your system. -Tupshin Zenin (zenin@best.com) wrote: :>Problems compiling version perl v5.002 on Linux using GCC v2.7.0. :>The ext/DynaLoader/DynaLoader.c file wants to include dld.h, the source :>of DynaLoader saying that it is quote, "/* GNU DLD header file */". :>Problem is that dld.h isn't to be found anywere on the system. :>-Yes, I've installed the full kernel source and all include files. :>Anyone else have this problem? :>Know a way around it? :>Kernel v1.2.13 :>Gcc v2.7.0 :>Perl v5.002 :>Thanks! :>______ :> / Spelling mistakes?
