Major International Bank, with offices in New York City, is currently looking for experienced contract Web Developer for a major new global project. Candidates will be responsible for developing a Web based financial reporting and confirmation system used by traders and support staff. The system also handles research information for Derivatives, FX, and Bond trading operations. The system will be written in Perl, HTML, CGI, and some Tkl, with the future option of going to VJ++ or Java. The back-end will be Sybase. Candidates must have a strong coding background using HTML, Perl, and some CGI with a background in Sybase or Oracle. Knowledge of Tcl/Tk and Java is a plus. Financial experience is only a plus. The system will be used in New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore. This is a long term project situation, with contracts available for 6, 9, and 12 month time periods. We offer excellent hourly rates for W2 or Business to Business consultants. Contact: Karen Eagle Datacom Technology Group Inc 212-629-5720 (ext 274) 212-629-3375(FAX) karene@datacom1.com

comp.lang.perl.misc is not a biz or jobs group. Please do NOT post job offerings to this group. It clogs up the group and annoys perl developers.
