In article <BwqMn4.165@gdls.CSCTMD.COM>, parker@gdls.CSCTMD.COM (The
Dougster) asked about using copypage to "thicken" parts of a drawing. Copy
page does not
iterate the PostScript previously executed using a new matrix. It simply
prints
the page, like showpage, without re-initializing for a new page. There are a
number of ways to accomplish "thickening", depending on what you are doing
and how much you want to thicken, but not of them are general enough. For
instance, one could redefine fill to be {gsave 1 setlinewidth stroke
grestore
fill} which would add a 1 point border to filled objects, but this would
fail
if an unusual matrix were in place. I cannot think of a general and safe
way
to do what you are asking for.

Steve Zisk
