Check out the review of 7 different color printers in July 1992 SunWorld.

Oh, I'm sorry, you said color INKJET.  Nevermind.

Anyway, July 1992 SunWorld tests 7 color PS printers, 5 are wax thermal
(for $4100 - $9995) and the other 2 are dye sublimation ($7318 & $14750).

The Tek Phaser II SX kicks ass on all the other wax thermals.
